Dialup
connection settings are now made at one location in OSX.
Click the System Preferences icon in your OSX
dock. When System Preferences appears, click on the Network
icon.
Both your TCP/IP and PPP settings are
made here. |

With the
Network dialog box open, assure that Location: is set
to Automatic and Configure: is set to Internal
Modem. Click the TCP/IP tab and make the following
settings:
Configure: Using PPP Domain Name
Servers: (leave blank if not needed) Search
domains: gric.com |

Next, click the
PPP tab and set the following parameters:
Service
Provider: NetAway Telephone Number: please insert
the local access number from the Access Number Finder page specific to the country you are in. NOTE if you need to dial a number
to get an outside line, you will need to enter this before the access number
e.g. if you need to dial a 9 you should enter "9," in front of the
number.
Alternate Number: an alternate dialup number for the same country from the Access Number Finder page, The access number finder will also let you know if there is any special formating you need to input into your device. The access number finder can email you the selected access numbers
Account Name: The access number finder will also let you know if there is any special formating you need to input into your device. The access number finder can email you the selected access numbers The LoginID is the username you selected when you signed up for NetAway.
Password: your NetAway password
Save password:
CHECKED
Click the "Save" button. |

Your OS-X Mac
and dialer have been automatically configured for your account.
To use your dialer, click on the Finder icon in your
OSX dock. When the Finder comes up, click on the
Applications icon.
Once you open the Applications
folder, locate the Internet Connect icon. |

The Internet
Connect icon is your dialer - click it and get
online!
Optionally, you can click and drag this icon down to
your dock so it will always be available to you without having to
open any windows. |
